I like the Exorcist also, I asked Linda Blair i I could lick her beaver. A Morticia(n) told me it was really appropriate for me to go down on her 24/7. I don't watch movies anymore because I'm totally bored with not being in them.
I love the 70s-80s B-horror, asking my favorite movie is like asking my favorite metal band...impossible.
Try killing spree, Toxic Avenger, Terror Firmer, night of the living dead, Critters, Night of the demons, Demons 1 & 2, The house that dripped blood, anything hammer horror/ Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing/ Ingrid Pitt, House by the Cemetary, Last house on the left, I spit on your grave, A Serbian film, Frontier(s), Bloodsucking freaks, Susperia, Cannibal Holocaust, Don't look in the basement, Don't go in the house, My bloody Valentine...the list goes on & on.
NEVER watch remakes, they ALL suck goat anus. If in doubt, try Fulci/Argento/Romero/Deodato.
i try try to stick the classics since holly wood has forgotten what horror movies are. i mean i dont want to sound like i dont enjoy a good horror movie, but give me a Vincent price or peter cushon movie any night since those guys really know how to portray there rols and sell a good movie. like house on haunted hill , or the house of usher which is also a great edgar alen poe story.
i cant really find a good movie recently made that does not over doe the blood, sex or some other 3rd thing. dont get me wrong romance is good but it kills a good horror movie when its to explicit. and when someone does more blood comes out pf the body than needed. i get the gore factor but i think
Trick 'r Treat (2007), Let the Right One In (the American remake Let Me In is also good), Interview with the Vampire, Night of the Creeps, The Omen (original, not the remake), the Evil Dead series (including Army of Darkness), the Ring (both American and Japanese series). the Monster Squad, Nightbreed, Child's Play series, Tarantula, etc.
I listen to a lot of horror punk and a lot of the songs are based on horror films, so that's where I discover many new movies. Trick 'r Treat is still my absolute favorite of all horror films and movies in general.
