Weight? You wanna risk being alone for the rest of your life because of someone's weight. Ladies, I'm talking to you too! This brings us back to what I said in my last post. Yes, its ok to have preferences, but to demand that your soulmate be the size of a bean pole is unrealistic. You dont want to date someone who could roll over and smother you, thats fine. Hell, I dont either! But even though I prefer medium to small guys doesnt mean I will refuse to date someone bigger. My first love was roughly 300 pounds! Look, some people are big and cant help it! It could be genetic! You wouldnt reject someone because they had cancer! (If you would thats kind of fucked up). Maybe theyre overweight because they need someone who loves them, someone who can encourage them to loose weight. They probably dont wanna be fat folks! Put yourself in their shoes, wouldn't you want someone to at least give you a chance? I'm not too small myself...

Being selective sometimes prevents headaches. I've had my share but I'd rather be single than say "to hell with standards". Can't say i don't like tall but my average has been from 5'0" to 5'9", 5'3" being the majority somehow. All in somewhat decent shape. I kinda like short & average. As for beauty, it's in the eye of the beholder so I won't get into what I call beautiful.

Why not fat? Well if you aren't attracted to it, you're not attracted to it. Don't give people crap for what they don't like(I'm getting that vibe from this post). Also, it's unhealthy. Do you want your S.O. constantly in the hospital & eventually become a widow because of diabetes/heart disease?

As for cancer, I've been there. I lost a girlfriend to it & I'll never go through that fucking pain again. For years..

Years. Cried more than I care to remember. I was begging friends for an answer. It came on mid relationship so I don't believe she knew, but it was about three months from diagnosis til death. Stage 1 to 4 THAT quick. She ended up in a fucking coma & I couldn't even say goodbye because her cunt mother. That's all I will say on that. I've watched so many people suffer, wither & die from cancer that I do not wish to see it again.

It is unfortunate people have such preferences. Sometimes it is easy to ignore such things. But sometimes people have trouble getting passed a certain thing about someone. Sometimes it is not even appearance. But I agree, its best to accept someone as they are.
