It makes me laugh that you can wink someone "I love you" on this site, though I guess you can lust after them from the pics.

Lust and Love are definitely two separate things. Love belongs to the realm of the mind, where as lust to realm of the body... But I believe that if u are able to combine both of them... I think this is a great means of achieving happiness... Hand in hand with the high seratonin levels you can get from this... Try it... If you can!

I guess it could be comparable to extacy! NB: Not the drug, the feeling...

Otherwise I would like to mention that to me Lust without Love, is really Pitiful, and ugly... Half Empty, Poor Hedonism... Especially, when you compare it to how much more pleasure and happiness you can achieve by combining Lust with Love. And to me I can't conceive how pure Lust can help you achieve happiness... And I think that those who don't agree with me, are either living in denial, idiots, or just not ever capable of Love, so I guess for them: Lust, well... will maybe get them half way there, Basically the closest way people like them could ever get to it: Hapiness...

Love includes lust. When you have lust and you add loyalty, a sense of security, and other possitive relationship boosters you have love. Make no mistake that lust is apart of love.

Dearest Skulking,
Your words could not ring truer. I however am a product of lust into love. I met Sacredlust on this site, and was set aflame by him. Although I'll admit it wasn't love at first sight. In fact when I stepped into his room, I said to myself, "What the hell am I doing here!" The pheromones were stronger than my gut reaction. Now, after much shit and tragedy and one beautiful infant son, I can honestly say I love him and feel I always will. You'll see from my profile I am slightly older and I can say, you definitely gain insight with each passing year.

I heard someone once say that you know u really love someone when you are prepared to kill for them or to have them. Thought i was in love once but then realised that i just loved the thought of being hurt over and over and over. That aint love thats obsession,

I think the real problem here is our disposable society. That's my humble opinion.

Your not making fun of the loving corporate gods whom have created our world, and that I model myself after now are you?

Yes I believe there is a big differeance. Lust is a feeling that must be fulfilled at some tragic coasts, its a feeling that goes beyond all comperhention (bad spelling I know lol, it can turn you wild, but once indulged it normally goes away. Now love can be as destuctive but the reason behind it is all differeant. But love in a nice way can also make you feel nervous around your love interest, it makes your tummy turn to mush, you can not sleep or eat. But you know when you are in love when you wake up to find your partner has been watching you while you were sleeping, you smile at each other, no words are needed to tell each other how you feel, you just know, you just know its LOVE.

Couldn't agree more, although there are some teens that live on thier own, and with a partner.

And you wanted to nominate me as GM Love Counselor?--You're a better fit!

LOL Nah, I still confuse myself on some situations. I can only give advise for all the experiences I have had and what i have observed. My experiences are abundant for sure as well as friends who have always come to me with their problems. So many problems! So little beer!

My comment is directed to her and those that feel that they had loved someone in high school and then when it doesn't work out, they think that love will never happen again. And then they think that lust is all that is left. Peronally and IMHO, I don't think you can feel the real love til you get out in the real world and deal with the real world's problems. Those are usually great testaments to how you will get through each problem and still have the love.

They are different. Lust is lust. Love is a feeling of upcoming lust fulfillment. Or proof of previous lust fulfillment (kids). Either way. Hehe

It always amazes me how young people who haven't even gotten out of school can describe differences between love and lust esp in that manner you have described. Love exists, stop being so pessimistic about it. I haven't necessarily felt the feeling yet but I think I am close to that point. But it takes a lot more than being a teen to finally know the real differences. And there is a difference.

Love in so many forms and in so many different ways.

How does one describe such a feeling, or a thought that they have, a passion that gives them hope or something to invoke the spirit of the soul to jump to a new height.

A love that you long for, something that isn't a object you can touch with your fingers but tell someone that you mean the life and earth you walk on and speaking from the last breath you have.

How can lust explain a vow of marriage that lives on till they are so old to the point where they see a shower of tears that fall from the clouds to the last bits of time when they fade away.

Can you explain why we cry for others hurt?
Just because we care right?

To care is a part of love and love isn't something that goes away quickly.

But we all have a different idea on what love and lust is.
