Does anyone have a signature piece of clothing that they just can't leave home without? Eldritch had the aviator glasses, I myself have a pair of sunglasses that I just feel naked without, as you can see from my photo. So, anybody?
In the fall and spring, it's my black hoodie. Summer would have to be either my flat black sandles or my flat cloth black Mary Jane shoes. Winter it's my long sleeved black t-shirt. I tend to switch out purses fairly frequently (all black) but currently I'm carrying a huge black canvas tote. I love it and because of it's size I can practically carry my whole life in it.
Yes I have a choker and long ball chain that I just love, and since it ways a ton I feel naked without it. Also I have a pair of heels Ive had forever I actualy wore the first ones out years ago and bought another identical set because I loved them so much. 4 1/2" strap on black open toed heels, hell yeah!
Over here in the sandbox it is my Oakley sunglasses. One of the marines made wise crack referring to them as my terminator glasses. Back home however I would say it is my twenty hole docs. They are comfy and broken in nicely.
I love my Batman belt buckle. I got it back in grade 9 so...5 years ago, and I have hardly ever not worn it. My ex hates Batman too so he tried to buy me a Wonder woman buckle... Quickly went back to my Batman.
my bagy black shorts. worn with the right top i can look tuff, casual, sexy, funny, smart, older, younger anything. but most important of all i am comfortable in them.
....returns with shiney new suit, gets dressed and goes to the dreaded new job interview looking like a cross between a funeral director and a pirate.
Gets home.
Gets phone call.
Gets new job.
Gets favorite 21 year old leather lace up 'n' tassled jeans out of bin and hits the highway for a week's holiday in Andalucia.
I almost always wear a large studded belt. I need a belt because I like baggy trousers and my hip shape would let them slide off without one, but a fat studded one just looks better than the other options.
