Umm... I'm kinda new here so don't kick my ass if this is a topic that has been discussed or w/e a million times before.
This summer I was planning on going on kind of a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella. My origin will be Saint-Jean Pied-de-port in france and I'm giving myself tops 2 months to finish the walk.
I plan on walking 2 european miles a day or 20 km.
So now I'm wondering if there is anyone here that has done anything like this and can give me a few tips and so on. If someone have done the very same thing before I would very much appreciate information about the terrain and distances between the larger cities/villages that lay along the road. Or tbh I would just appreciate any tips about long distance walking. I'm working out every day trying to get in to the pace required for me to make it all the way but this really is the first time for me so I'm kinda nervous.
have a pair of good trekking shoes/boots broken down. ¿Enough socks to last you for the week and have extra insoles for each pair of footwear you bring. ¿Footpowder and moleskin are a must to have. ¿
