As of late I have seen an incredible influx of misspellings and as a once promising middle school teacher I was a lil aghast...Like the time Mo showed up for that beach party wearing Capris...Skin tight...White...With black undies underneath.

Anyways since they took away the spellcheck from the blogs we all have suffered for it a bit...I mean I understand people who's first language isn't English having problems with grammar and spelling...That's normal...But come on my fellow Americans take the time to "Spel thangs a lil beter."

I understand that spelling doesn't take away the creativity of the subject but sometimes it's a distraction...Hard to take people seriously who sound like they're talking through a mouthful of marbles or who can't seem to make a valid point on paper/print or the computer due to spelling errors.

Kind of like the time it took me 2 hours to tell that Mohawk at the beach, wearing the Capris story...But in graphic detail...With lasers and a fog machine and the sweet sounds of Yanni playing in the background.

Errrrrrrm...I mean...What?...I'm just saying....What?...Whatever!

seems all languages have silent letters - with French its the aspirant (the "h") but all French speakers will tell you there are four words where it is pronounced but strangely cannot name them (so things like hotel are to be pronounced otel) and they have the same thing with words sounding the same but meaning different things - such as the word tour (tower) if you use the masculine it means tower but if the use the feminine it means to go around ... all languages are out to get you ... its my new conspiracy theory :-)

Forgot to say thanks Noodles for this blog entry cause it did bring a smile to my mind's eye and me a Science major - grammars and spelling remain one of my most feared bete noirs (sorry couldn't put the inverted v over the first e of bete)

Being a gamer, I'm used to forums being full up with posts that lack any sort of grammar or spelling. I did'nt expect to see that kind of thing on here though. I'm no Shakespeare but I am legible at least.

Oh by the way Noodles, you spelt grammar wrong :p
