I just had a nightmare two nights ago that was so vivid and real that I had no idea if it was live or Memorex.
I was driving on Highway 101 which I've driven a 1000 times, it's a flat valley area (Salinas Valley) full of crops to both sides of me with small moutains (Toro Mountains) on either side.
In my dream I'm driving a small gray little car I didn't recognize...In my mind it's New Year's Eve at dusk...I look in my rear-view mirror and see fireworks from two sides in the background over a small little town (Gonzales)...I'm all "Cool" and I smile and suddenly there is a huge bright light,whicj I recognize as a nuclear mushroom shaped explosion.
In my dream, my jaw drops and I start to go down my list of what to do...So I coast in the middle, as I prep for the aftershock...I look back and see the mushroom against the gray skies, but the explosion must have been beyond what could reach me...So I stopped looking at it, because in my dream I remembered that you're not supposed to look at it and I head off north to get to my guns and supplies.
End of dream...I then woke up.
The detail in the dream was amazing and I was thinking without knowing I was dreaming...Spooky.

I like taking Alpha Brain then watching zombie movies or The Walking Dead for 6 hours, then going to sleep.
You live a zombie movie. You're completely aware and everything is as vivid as when you're awake. Pain seems real, you get tired while running and the fear is wonderful.
Once while sleeping on Alpha Brain, I dreamed I was drowning and woke up to realize I hadn't been breathing. Took me a moment to catch my breath. I wish I could do it again but haven't. Makes me wonder what would have happened if I didn't wake up.

Anyway: I had a bad one as well today: I was admitted to an asylum somewhere, and was again a teen, and my classmates from high school were there as well.... . Woke up all sweaty.
