The most common mistake that people make is proclaiming that they accept everyone as different and individual. The fact is that our brains are designed in such a way to make sure that we cannot be judged on our individuality. From birth we are taught to act a certain way, dress a certain way or be a certain way.

Our brains are hard wired from the started to categorise people into certain groups, or at least most people's brains are. The fact is that if it is not taught from birth we are unable to say that we see everyone as individuals. Although the fact that we don't stereotype anyone makes us very vunerable in the society and used by the people around us.

We were taught the different stereotypes and we will teach our children the different stereotypes whether we like the idea of it or not. A child absorbs information around them at an increadibly fast rate and there is no way in which we can control the information which the child absorbs. The only thing which we can teach a child and ourselves is acceptance of different groups, their functions and the fact that even people within that group are all different.

We are all different :)
